About Nyamekye Peugh, MBA, SPHR

Nyamekye Peugh is an accomplished Human Resources leader with 25+ years of experience driving strategic HR initiatives across diverse industries including Healthcare, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, and Global Engineering Consultancy. She is known for her expertise in benefits administration, compensation planning, compliance, employee relations, leadership development, policy development and implementation, and talent management.

Nyamekye earned her BA in Journalism from the University of Houston and her MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. Her academic foundation, combined with her extensive professional experience, has equipped her to lead transformative HR strategies focused on succession planning, organizational performance, change management, and employee development. A passionate advocate for education and mentorship, Nyamekye has served as a guest lecturer at colleges and universities, sharing her insights and guiding future HR professionals. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and HR Houston, where she dedicates her time to providing guidance to adults and students navigating careers in human resources.

Outside of her professional life, Nyamekye is deeply committed to community service. She volunteers with organizations such as the Society for Human Resource Management, Houston Food Bank, KPC, SIS Inc., and serves as a lector at her church. She cherishes outdoor adventures with her husband, Jason, and their children.
