Dr. Durand-Sanchez is a native of Guadalajara, Mexico, and comes to Moody Neuro as a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as well as Brain Injury Medicine. She received her medical degree from the Universidad de Guadalajara-Health Science Center, graduating with honors in 2004. She completed her residencies at Alliance of the Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Texas Health Science Center, and currently practices in Houston, Texas.
Having more than 14 years of diverse experience in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Traumatic brain injury / Concussion, Stroke, Spasticity, Cerebral palsy, and Polytrauma. Dr. Durand-Sanchez has privileges at Encompass Health, TIRR Memorial Hermann Rehabilitation Hospital, CHI-Baylor St Luke’s Medical Center, and other facilities. She also collaborates with specialists in other disciplines to bring to her patients the best care possible.
